Video storytelling is my favorite form of media. Below are examples of my videos. Some empower and bring dignity to people with disabilities, some are work I’ve done for organizations and others are just fun takes on my life.
Work for Mobility Worldwide
In June 2022, I had the opportunity to travel to Nairobi, Kenya as an intern for Mobility Worldwide - an organization that makes hand-crank carts for people with disabilities. In order to raise funds for additional carts, Mobility Worldwide was seeking to communicate stories of past recipients and how their carts have allowed them to work and be contributing members of their family and community. While in Kenya, I was able to meet with these 3 amazing recipients and record their stories.
Media Content for Cross Country and Track Teams
On my high school's cross country and track teams it became a tradition for me to make a vlog for each meet. My goal for the vlogs was to have fun, celebrate accomplishments, appreciate our progress and ultimately bring the team together. Our parents are the most loyal vlog fans, anxiously waiting each release to catch a glimpse of what really goes on behind the scenes.
